The Desk workspace: a Polymarket desktop trading app
Desk isn't a single screen — it's a workspace. The top bar spawns everything you need, and each panel floats freely: drag it, resize it, pop it out onto its own window. Build the layout that suits how you trade, and Desk remembers it.
The top bar spawns everything
Every surface in Desk opens from the top bar. Each one appears as a panel you can move, resize and arrange however you like:
- Markets — browse every market by category: trending, sport, in-play, politics and crypto.
- Ladder — the main trading surface, where you place and manage orders.
- Chart — a price chart with indicators and its own order ticket.
- Stats — live football stats alongside the market.
- desk Live — smart-money flow, showing what larger wallets are doing.
Two icons sit on the right of the top bar. The clipboard opens Orders, Positions & History; the profile icon opens Settings.
One market, two views — or a whole match
Ladder and Chart both open the market you currently have focused, so you can view the same market as a ladder and a chart side by side — trade off the depth while reading the trend.
Open a match and Desk tiles every outcome as its own ladder — a Match view that puts Home, Draw and Away in front of you at a glance, each fully tradable.
Defaults and per-panel display
Settings sets the defaults that seed every new panel you open:
- Default ladder / chart mode — Sports, Crypto or Financial.
- Default price format.
- Default order type.
- Theme.
When you want one panel to behave differently, the per-panel Display control overrides Mode, Price or Language for that panel alone — without touching the rest of your layout.
Pop-outs and remembered layout
Display, Tools, Orders & Positions and the Chart each pop out into their own floating, draggable, pinnable panels. Use ⧉ Pop out to detach one and ⤓ Dock to fold it back in.
Your layout is remembered between sessions. Arrange your panels once — the ladder here, the chart there, smart-money flow pinned in the corner — and Desk brings it all back the next time you open it.
Orders, Positions & History
The clipboard panel is your account in one place. It shows your live positions and resting orders with running P&L and one-click cancel, so you always know what's open and what's working.
The History view filters by 24h, 7d, 30d or All, with totals for Realized P&L, Trades, Markets and Turnover, and switches between Analysis, By market and Trades views to review how you've done.
A native app
Desk is a native desktop application for macOS and Windows — not a browser tab. That's what makes the floating panels, pop-out windows and remembered layout feel like a real trading terminal rather than a web page.
